I had a bit of a problem with our 2nd lamp we just purchased. Aaron was so kind and helpful in trying to figure out the problem. Bottom line is that it must be more sensitive than our other lamp that we had sitting on a glass table with a metal rim and legs. This lamp was having nothing to do with the metal. At first the thought was a sensor or LED. We have it sitting on the corner of our kitchen counter and it's now working perfectly! Our daughter, her husband and our four grandchildren are in the Philippines and we're in the U.S. we love our lamp!

I love friendship lamps. I have two lamps, one is for myself, my bonus mom & dad, and my sister and brother in law. And on the second one is for myself and my kids. I love them both. The only thing is..... I have the first one on remote touch and the 2nd one they said I can't have it on remote. I have one account with two groups under it. Which the app put both under one account app.... so, therefore I can't have both under remote.

We all enjoy the lamps, received the first lamp 6 years ago and grew from there.
I will be honest it is ‘harder and harder’ to find colors after the first 8…..I was very pleased with the Filimin workers who were very helpful in helping with that.

My daughter bought this for me a few years ago and it has been awsome to see if light up since she is in Texas and her dad and I live in Ohio.

We recently bought this and 2 other designs for our friends who live in Florida as they have a daughter in Ohio and another in Raleigh, NC and is expecting first grandchild which they also will get used to touching the lamp and Grandma and Grandpa will enjoy the light colors from their girls and also once their grandson gets older.
It is just a little touch of the lamp that lets you know that they are thinking of you and vise versa. I touch mine whenever I am in the kitchen and if our daughter is home, she changes it right away.

Customer service is world-class! Our classic friendship lamp was several years old, and I enjoyed it throughout. Many of the early issues (mostly regarding WiFi connectivity) were fixed with subsequent firmware updates. However, after about 3 years, our lamp started going crazy with random colors and flashing. I sent a help request to Friendship Lamps customer service, and literally they responded within minutes. I took a video after trying basic recommendations like unplugging, resetting, etc, and they immediately sent me a brand new lamp, which arrived a few days later, with prepaid return for the old lamp for them to recycle the parts or trouble-shoot.

I know you'll find this hard to believe, but I just purchased my 25th lamp. I have 3 different lamps for my family, my husband's family, and my friends. These lamps are used for several different purposes. Of course the obvious "thinking of you." One niece moved out of state for grad school, and this lets her know we're missing her. Another niece was just married and moved to the Netherlands. This is a quick way for her to keep in touch with us. All of us touch our lamps when we come home from traveling to let family members know we made it home safely. For a few years we have enjoyed sharing the light with my daughter. Got for my mom on the east coast and called in 4 times over 2 days to talk with cust service to help get mom added to our network. I was never connected to anyone. After 10 minutes on hold each time, I was asked to leave a number for call-back which I can't do without knowing what number would be calling me back so I can add it to contacts so my robocall blocker wont silence the number. Please enhance your cust service staff hours and number of folks manning the system.
